The Plovdiv edition of this year?s 9th International Festival ?Thracian Summer? 2005 was opened last night with a concert of Bobby Yotsov, clarinet, and Borislava Taneva, piano, at the Balabanov House Museum in the Old Town. They performed pieces by Bartok, Schnitke and Hristo Yotsov. Nayden Todorov is the musical director of the festival.
The participants in the festival this year: Lyudmil Nenchev, Romeo Smilkov, Alexavder Nanchev, Hristo Popov and Boryana Lambreva.
