Unique exhibition of drawings by eminent Bulgarian masters, among which Vladimir Dimitrov -the Master and Zlatyu Boyadzhiev opened yesterday at the L?Union Gallery in Plovdiv. The exhibition also includes works by Vassil Stoilov, Hristo Kavarnaliev, Vassil Ivanov, Atanas Mihov and Georgi Bozhilov-Slona. Artists of that magnitude could rarely be seen at one place, unless in auctions. The ink drawings by the Master are dated from his earliest period, they are on religious topics and will be offered for sale. Among the sketches and drawings by Zlatyu Boyadzhiev are a portrait of his father, some old houses and landscapes. According to Pavlina Marinopva, owner of L?Union Gallery, the works of the different artists vary from 150 Euro to 800 Euro. The drawings are done by pencil, ink, chalk and crayon. They all have certificates for authenticity; they are dates and signed by the artists ? proof that they are all originals. Permanent exhibition of 22 paintings by the eminent Plovdiv artists Dimiter Kirov, more famous with his signature DiKiro, opened at the Kambanata (The Bell) Restaurant in the Old Town. That way the famous artist pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the restaurant?s owner Danail Danailov.
