Boris Dimovski is one of the greatest contemporary Bulgarian artists. Beside being a world-famous caricature artist, he is also a much respected master of water-color paitings, oil paintings, impressions and graphics. He was born on October 20, 1925, in the village of Yavrovo, Assenovgrad area. He has illustrated numerous books.

Boris Dimovski is a former MP (member of Parliament) in the 7th Great National Assembly. He has got five children and five grandchildren.
