“Days of Bulgaria at the European parliament in Strasburg”, May 13th-16th, 2006, organized by BG observation delegation and with the support of Jeffrey van Orden and Lorenzo Cesa.
The aim of that event, organized right before the discussion of Bulgaria’s being accepted in the EU, is to present our country with its culture, history, traditions and unique products. An exhibition of modern painting and ceramics from artists in Plovdiv, Sofia, Veliko Turnovo and Varna, playing BG films, tasting of BG wines, and presentation of Bulgaria’s nature and tourist attractions are just a part of the official presentation of our country to the European Parliament in Strasburg.
The artists that have been selected in Plovdiv by the gallery experts in painting Vanya Atanassova and in ceramics Vessela Sarieva (the two are in the photo above) are the following: Svetlin Rusev, Gredi Assa, Mikhail Laov, Encho Pironkov, Ilia Zhelev, Vassil Stoev, Nedko Itinov, Snezhana Slavova, Hristo Panev, Ivanichka Paneva, Milko Bozhkov, Petar Mitchev, Angel Atanassov, Ivan georgiev, Stanimir Videv, Stoimen Stoilov, Svilen Blazhev, Bozhidar Bonchev, Krassimir Dzhirdov, Monika Popova, Rada Dicheva and Yana Yunakova.
