Today, April 13th 2005, Wednesday, the Meeting Hall of the Plovdiv Municipality building hosted a press conference with Dr. Chomakov, Luoka stanchev and Svetla Mosskova (art critic), about the restoration process at the St Stephan Church in Istanbul, which was initiated by Plovdiv Citizen Club and by Dr Chomakov personally.

Thirty icons, as well as compositions situated above and around the iconostases will be totally renewed and restored by plovdiv restoration and preservation artists...
