Today, September 15th, the classrooms of the altogether 54 schools of Plovdiv are expected to host the total of 37,000 students. 2,700 of them will be first-graders.
September 15th is also a special day for the 62 kindergartens in the city. Their preparatory groups prepare the future 2,800 first-graders. Eleven new groups were opened for the first time in Plovdiv kindergartens.
The Mayor of Plovdiv, Dr Chomakov, officially opened the new school year in the St St Cyril and Methodius school (see the school on the photo above).
