The achievements of young Plovdivers....

The Plovdiver, Bozhidar Katsarov, won the ?Cooper Bowl? Tennis Tournament in Arizona in the age group up to 18, defeating Jack Lewis from Missouri 6:1, 6:2.

Bozhidar Katsarov is a former member of the Locomotive Plovdiv Tennis Club, and is only 17 years old. He has been training for the last 12 months in the USA, after his family won a permanent resident card.

After only 1 year of ?tennis battles? on the US courts, Bozhidar Katsarov finished as #1 in the California tennis rank list. He was also #6 in the US national rank list for the 16-year-olds for the year 2005.
