Plovdiv Muslim Community has taken part in the “You Are Not Alone” National Release Initiative for the five BG nurses and the Palestinian doctor. An official declaration of the community was handed to Plovdiv Mayor, Dr Chomakov (who is also the Chairman of the Civil Association for Bilateral Relations with the Libyan Jamahiriya) - to be delivered to the Libyan Embassy.

The Mayor has also received a similar declaration from the National Association of Blind and Deaf People in Bulgaria on behalf of its 700 members.

Both documents express compassion to the pain of the parents of the infected children as well as support to our nurses and the Palestinian doctor, sentenced to death - stating belief in their innocence and in their prompt release.
