According to the National Statistics Institute, the citizens of Plovdiv own the most spacious flats in BG: of the altogether 302,786 flats: 102,238 are three-room ones, 93,206 are two-room ones and 30,001 are one-room flats.
While Sofia features only 5,581 six-room flats, Plovdiv steps forward with 11,949 ones!
14.08% of all the flats and houses in the country are located in the capital Sofia, but Plovdiv follows closely with 8.15%, while Varna remains third with 5.82%.
