Plovdiv with an award from Swiss International Tourist and Vacation Exhibition

Plovdiv Municipality received a prestigious silver-plate award from the Swiss International Tourist and Vacation Exhibition. The award is in the Category “Open-Air Museum”, and underlines the unique potential for developing tourism in our city.

The exhibition took place November 1^st to 4^th, 2007. Forty-four countries from different continents participated in it, with more 300 stands altogether. Plovdiv was presented with an own stand, where all the staff was wearing Bulgarian folklore costumes.
