The facilities will be located in close proximity to the Plovdiv Sports Complex (the photo above). The lot is about 12 decares. The hall capacity is scheduled for 6200 people (5000 seated, 1200 additional). The parking lot will be enough for 500 cars.
The Municipal Council of Plovdiv is expected to approve the architectural design during its next session, June 7th. The investor is the British company “Chesfield Partners” and the construction term is scheduled for 20 months. The hall will meet all European standards for hosting world and European championships.
