Plovdiv Municipality receiving the “Municipal Financier of 2006” Award

The prize has been awarded to the Plovdiv Municipality during the two-day national conference of the Association of Municipal Councils in Bulgaria running in Plovdiv right now.

The motives for this awarding include: the municipal finances long-term management systems implementation, the acquiring the BB Positive Perspective credit rating by “Standard & Poor’s”, and the granting of a 15-year 25-milion Euro loan to the municipality by Raiffeisenbank for the restoration of two of the Plovdiv bridges and 265 city streets…
