Plovdiv Male Chess Team of Locomotive 2000 won the title of Republican Champion

The Plovdiv Male Team of Locomotive 2000 Chess Club, reclaimed the title of Republican Champion, at the championship in the seaside resort of Slanchev Briag (aka. Sunny Beach).
Plovdiv male team got first in a fierce competiiton with Locomotive Sofia and CSKA.
The young Plovdiv Locomotive 2000 chessplayer, Iva Videnova (see the photo below) got first in the female competition.

These awards give back hope to Plovdiv for resurrection of chess sport in the city.
