The 28th edition of the International Consumer Goods and Technologies Fair was unveiled in Plovdiv by Economy and Energy Minister Peter Dimitrov. A total of 991 companies from 36 countries have confirmed entry. Of these 668 are Bulgarian.
Opening the event, Minister of Economy and Energy Petar Dimitrov said that Spring 2008 is acclaimed internationally due to Bulgaria’s fine climate, to the tax policy and to the country’s EU membership. The leaders of the Bulgarian light and food industries are showing their products at the fair. For the first time the program includes separate thematic displays – for yachts, boats and water sport equipment, and Business Consulting, a zone for business consultations.
