The Swiss Music Days open in Bulgaria today. They are running for the second time in a row and have been organized by the Switzerland Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Foreign Culture Policy Center, and the Swiss Embassy in Sofia. Swiss and BG musicians are going to participate in concerts in Plovdiv as well as in Sofia’s “Bulgaria Hall”. The Days open today in the Balabanov House Museum with a master’s class by the world famous cello player Prof. Conradin Brotback. *** A candidate-student bazaar opens today at the building of the Plovdiv Central Post Office (the photo above), that will close March 26th. Participants: 28 universities and colleges and 8 education companies are expected to give info of their new majors and of the conditions for enrollment, as well as of the official dates of exams. The bazaar’s working hours is 10 am to 6 pm on March 24th, and 9 am to 2 pm on March 25th, 2006.
