Jan.6th, 2006 (last week), hundreds of citizens of Kalofer, the native town of the eminent BG revolutionary Hristo Botev, gathered around his monument to commemorate the 158th anniversary of his birth. VIP guest of the celebrations was Georgi Pirinski, Chairman of the BG National Assembly. He laid floral tributes to Hristo Botev House Miuseum. He received a photocopy of Botev?s personal notebook as a gift from the House Museum, while he gave his own gift to the Museum ? the Bulgarian flag.

Contract of cooperation between the University Hospitals of two cities ? Plovdiv and Padova (Italy) is going to be signed today. The universities attached to the two hospitals are also expected to start active interrelation. The contract is giving the option of exchanging programs for experts, students and professors.
