Monument to Col. Drangov in Plovdiv

May 31st the Plovdiv Mayor, Dr Chomakov, will be unveiling the monument to Colonel Boris Drangov (see the photo above). The monument is located in the small park east of the St Petersburg Hotel, between Pobeda St. and Bulgaria Blvd., right on the spot where once stood the barracks of the 9th Plovdiv Infantry, as a member of which Col. Drangov lost his life.
