José Rodrigues dos Santos, the best selling Portuguese writer, is visiting Plovdiv on an invitation by his publisher, the Hermes Publishing House, on March 24, 2010. Dos Santos will present to the Plovdiv audience his book "A Formula de Deus" (aka. God's Formula) at the Trakart Culture Center the same day, at 6 PM. He is known to Bulgarian literary fans with his novel "Codex 632".

José Rodrigues dos Santos (born in Beira, Overseas Province of Mozambique, 1st April 1964) is a Portuguese writer, university lecturer and journalist. Formerly a reporter for the BBC, he has covered more than a dozen wars, teaches journalism at the New University of Lisbon, and anchors the Telejornal of Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP).
He was born in the city of Beira, Overseas Province of Mozambique, a Portuguese territory at that time, and lived most of his childhood in Tete, Overseas Province of Mozambique.
