Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ivaylo Kalfin, declared the International Plovdiv Spring Fair open. This year's exhibition of consumer goods and technologies features the participation of 1247 companies (649 Bulgarian, 625 - foreign ones).
The opening was also attended by the Plovdiv Mayor, Dr Ivan Chomakov, Plovdiv Regional Manager Todor Petkov, the Plovdiv Metropoliten Nicholay, and the International Fair executive director, Georgi Gergov.
