Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov won against Novak Djokovic, Serbia by 7:6 (6), 6:7 (8), 6:3 at the Masters Series in Madrid and became the first Bulgarian tennis player to defeat a current #1 in the ATP list. “I am surprised but also inspired by your will to win, Grigor! Congratulations”, wrote Roger Federer in Twitter after the match. It is a known fact that baby Federer is Grigor Dimitrov’s idol in tennis and the Bulgarian’s style is commented as identical to the holder of a record number of titles in the Grand Slam. “I tried my best but Dimitrov was the better tennis player today and deserved to win. He was serving perfectly, was hitting the ball very neatly and was often changing rhythm”, said Djokovic after the game.
