Today is the 135th anniversary of the death of vassil Levski. The anniversary is going to be commemorated by a church service at the St Holy Mother Church in the Old Town of Plovdiv. At 11 am the central square will host a gathering and later floral tributes to the great revolutionary will be paid at the monumnt to his mother, Gina Kouncheva.
The anniversary of Levski's is also commemorated by the opening of exhibition dedicated to his life and work, at the foyer of the Plovdiv Municipality building.
