The European Olympic Committee President, Patrick Hickey (Ireland), encouraged Bulgaria’s participation again for hosting Winter Olympics.
He also considered the BG Olympic Committee Chairman, Stefka Kostadinova, as the most serious European candidate for a new member of the International Olympic Committee.
