Tsvetana Pironkova won her first title in a WTA tournament. At the final in Sydney (award fund) USD 710 000) she won over world’s # 9 Ahgelique Kerver, Germany by 2:0 (6:4, 6:4). For this victory Pironkova will receive USD 120 000 and 470 points for the rank list.
