The poet Alexander Banderov has long worked as a journalist (he has been awarded the Gold Pen Award of the Bulgarian Journalists Union), and later was an editor for the Hristo G.Danov Publishing House.

In the early 1990s, Alexander Banderov moved to Canada, where he lived and worked.

 He died on November 8, 2007.
