Some of his plastics facade ornaments are the mosaics of the Sofia Central Station and the murals on the facade of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre. As a teacher at the Art Academy he created a generation of the 1980s and the 1990s with a really contemporary vision. ?The exhibition is unique because Ivan Kirkov belongs to the group of the first Bulgarians to step into the world of the modern Europe already in the 1960s? , were the words of the art critic Krassimir Linkov at the opening of that exhibition.
