Plovdiv has yet another "sister city" - Kastoria in Greece

Tomorrow, May 17th 2005, the
Greek town of Kastoria
is hosting the signing of an
Agreement for Sister-City Cooperation
between the two towns, by the Plovdiv mayor, Dr. Ivan Chomakov, and the Kastoria Mayor, Dimitrois Papoulidis. The municipal council of Kastoria expressed willingness for close cooperation with Plovdiv, which has been accepted by the Municipal Council of Plovdiv. After the signing of that agreement, Plovdiv is now in close "sister-city" relations with altogether 20 towns and cities all around the globe...
