EVN Bulgaria Electricity Distribution Company (the Bulgarian unit of Austrian utility EVN AG managing the activities of its Bulgarian subsidiaries) has started the construction of the first in the country modern 50 mW electric power plant in Plovdiv.

The plant will be built on the grounds of the Sever Thermal Power Station (northern city area) and is expected to be launched by Nov.2011.
