Disabled People Rehabilitation Centre opened on December 22nd, at 1 Ranni List Str. in Plovdiv. VIP guests at the opening included the Mayor of Region West in Plovdiv, Mrs. Vakrilova, the Plovdiv Mayor, Dr Ivan Chomakov, members of the Disabled People Union and many guests, among which the associated members of the Young Eagle Association, who were so attractive in their beautiful uniforms that attracted the eyes and hearts of all the audience.


The Centre disposes of a convenient building ? its first floor is organized as a cafe-club called St. George the Victorious, a shop offering various auxiliary items for the disabled people, and a doctor?s office. The second floor offers a specialized shoemaker?s workshop and two specialized fitness halls, equipped with ?Kettler? tennis-tables.
Dr Chomakov cut the official ribbon and declared the Centre opened, and Father Blagoy from the St. Peter and Paul Church blessed the building as well as the hosts and all the visitors.
