160th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Vazov - celebrations in Sopot, the writer's birth place

The celebrations of the 160th anniversary of the birth of the eminent BG writer Ivan Vazov are starting in Sopot today, until July 9. They have been organized by the Sopot Municipality, Ivan Vazov House Museum and the local community center.

The program of the events includes literary readings, exhibitions, plain-airs and concerts. The 2010 Ivan Vazov National Literary Award will be handed on the last day of the scheduled program.
