За първи път награда Lucien Schevalas

Първата Специална награда за принос към развитието и опазването на зелената система на Пловдив е връчил кметът Славчо Атанасов. Тя е била присъдена на Съюза по лесотехника към Сдружението на Научно-техническите съюзи в Пловдив. Наградата е учредена от общината, Съюза на ландшафтните архитекти, Сдружение „Добротворие БГ" и ОП „Градини и паркове"- Пловдив и носи името на създателя на парковите зони в Пловдив Люсиен Шевалас .

Кметът е поздравил всички присъстващи с големия християнски празник Цветница и е пожелал за развитието на зелената система на Пловдив да се работи така, че новоучредената награда да се връчва всяка година при сериозна конкуренция между кандидатите.

Призът ще се дава винаги на Цветница пред монумента на Люсиен Шевалас в Цар Симеоновата градина.
