President Purvanov Visits Brussels on May 8

Sofia, May 7 (BTA) - President Georgi Purvanov will pay a one-day visit to Brussels on May 8, the Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

Purvanov is scheduled to confer with European Commission President Romano Prodi, European Parliament President Pat Cox and deputy chair of the European Convention Guiliano Amato.

On the Bulgarian delegation is also Minister of European Affairs Meglena Kouneva.

After he returns from Belgium, Purvanov will convene the Council for European and Atlantic Integration with the presidency.
